Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying it for the first time, there’s a charter for you: rod-and-reel sport fishing, or a guided spearfishing trip. Every trip is private (up to 6 guests) and customizable. All skill levels are welcome and all equipment is provided. Charters are run by our partners Day Break Charters from Green Cay Marina and booked on their secure booking site (book.daybreakchartersstx.com).

Fishing Charter FAQs
How much is a fishing charter in St. Croix?
Private sport fishing and spearfishing charters for up to 6 guests are $1,000 for 4 hours, $1,300 for 6 hours and $1,600 for 8 hours, for the whole boat. A $300 deposit is taken when you book online.
Who runs the fishing charters?
Our partners Day Break Charters LLC, a private St. Croix charter company whose captains are certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. You book on Day Break Charters’ secure booking site.
Where do fishing charters leave from?
Green Cay Marina, east of Christiansted. Your confirmation shows the exact dock.
What should I bring?
Reef-safe sunscreen (no spray-on), a hat, sunglasses, a camera, and any snacks or drinks you want (no glass). Day Break provides fishing or spearfishing gear, bottled water and ice.
Do I need experience?
No. Beginners and experts are welcome on both sport fishing and spearfishing, and the crew will teach you.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes, you’re welcome to keep your catch, and the crew will gladly clean it to your preference.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 72 hours before your charter for a full refund of your deposit or payment. Cancellations less than 72 hours before the charter forfeit the entire deposit. If the captain cancels for bad weather, you get a full refund.
