Parasailing from Christiansted is run by our partners Parasail Virgin Islands, who have a 100% safety record. Take-offs and landings are slow and gentle, right on the back of the boat, so you feel as if you’re truly sailing on air. Fly two or three at a time with family or friends; the flight is 8–10 minutes, and the rest of the trip is a boat ride while everyone takes their turn. - At the dock
Waivers and safety briefing
Sign your waivers (a parent or guardian signs for under 18s), then the captain and crew walk you through the flight.
- On the water
Up you go
The crew inflates the parachute and you lift off from the back of the boat for an 8–10 minute flight.
- Everyone flies
Take turns
Flyers go up two or three at a time, depending on combined weight, while everyone else enjoys the ride.
- Back to the dock
Return
Once everyone has flown, the boat heads back to the dock.

Parasailing FAQs
How much is parasailing in St. Croix?
$95 per parasailer (ages 6+) and $70 for a guaranteed observer who rides along, booking online. A private parasail trip for your group is $1,000 for 1 hour.
How long is the flight?
Each flight is 8–10 minutes. Plan on about 1 to 1.5 hours on the water while everyone takes a turn.
Is there an age or weight limit?
Flyers must be 6 or older, and under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver. Each flight needs a combined weight of at least 160 lbs and up to about 450 lbs; the limits change with the wind and are at the captain’s discretion.
Can I fly alone?
Flyers usually go up two or three at a time. If you’re flying solo you need to meet the 160 lb minimum combined weight on your own, so call us and we’ll help.
Will I get wet?
You take off and land right on the boat, so you can stay dry.

When is parasailing open?
Parasailing is seasonal and closed in September and October. The booking calendar shows open dates and departure times.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 24 hours or more before departure for a full refund. No-shows and late cancellations are charged in full, and rebooking within 24 hours costs $40 per person. Weather cancellations are fully refunded at the discretion of the staff on duty.
