Fishing charters are run by our partners Day Break Charters from Green Cay Marina, and you book on Day Break Charters’ secure booking site. You’re welcome to keep your catch, and the crew will gladly clean it to your preference.

Sport Fishing FAQs
How much is a fishing charter in St. Croix?
Private charters for up to 6 guests are $1,000 for 4 hours, $1,300 for 6 hours and $1,600 for 8 hours, for the whole boat. A $300 deposit is taken when you book online.
What can we catch?
Blue marlin, white marlin, wahoo, tuna, mahi and more, offshore, or smaller game closer in for a relaxed family day.
Do I need fishing experience?
No. Beginners and expert record chasers alike are welcome, and the crew will teach you.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes, you’re welcome to keep your catch, and the crew will gladly clean it to your preference.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. Charters are family-friendly, and a family fishing charter is a great way to bond while reeling in the catch of the day.
What time do charters leave?
4 and 6 hour charters leave at 7:00 am or 12:00 pm; 8 hour charters leave at 7:00 am. Meet at Green Cay Marina.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Bottled water and ice are included, and you’re welcome to bring snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Glass bottles aren’t allowed.
Who runs the charter?
Our partners Day Break Charters LLC, a private St. Croix charter company whose captains are certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. You book fishing charters on Day Break Charters’ secure booking site, with a $300 deposit.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 72 hours before your charter for a full refund of your deposit or payment. Cancellations less than 72 hours before the charter forfeit the entire deposit. If the captain cancels for bad weather, you get a full refund. To cancel, contact Day Break Charters by email or phone.
