Caribbean Sea Adventures runs public and private snorkel trips, sunset sails and charters to Buck Island Reef National Monument, the nation’s first underwater national park, from our office at 1102 King St Suite 12, Christiansted and from Green Cay Marina.
We specialize in private and small groups, and we cap public trips below capacity so it never feels crowded. From romantic getaways to family reunions and catered group events, including groups of 100+ guests across multiple boats, we’ll help you plan the day.
Our story
Caribbean Sea Adventures has been taking guests to Buck Island in one form or another since the 1970s, passed down through several families and generations along the way. In November 2015 the Ridgway family became its stewards. Owner Capt Matt Ridgway was born on St. Croix, and he believes it’s the people who make St. Croix, and Caribbean Sea Adventures, so special. Come aboard and meet them.

Is Caribbean Sea Adventures an authorized National Park Service concessioner?
Yes. Caribbean Sea Adventures is an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service, Dept. of the Interior, and is authorized to provide snorkel tours and private charters within Buck Island Reef National Monument.
How many boats do you have?
Six: Celebration, Wave Dancer, Mile Mark, Good Times, Inconceivable and Smooth Recovery, from a 32 ft Boston Whaler for private charters to a 41 ft power catamaran for up to 31 guests (30 when snorkeling).
Are your captains licensed?
Yes. Our captains are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified, and our CPR-certified guides are in the water with you on the snorkel trail.
How crowded are your public trips?
We specialize in private and small groups, and we cap public trips below capacity so it never feels crowded.
