Departing Christiansted harbor at 10 am, enjoy a 45-minute ride aboard Mile Mark to the nation’s first underwater snorkel trail. You don’t need to be an expert: beginners are welcome.

Start with a refresher course in snorkeling, then explore the reef in two breathtaking locations with your guide. After snorkeling, climb back aboard and visit Turtle Beach, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, to relax or explore the island’s hiking trails.

Why a full day with CSA
- We stay at Buck Island. Once we arrive, we don’t leave the park for a lunch stop, so you get more time on the reef and on Turtle Beach.
- Eat what you love. Lunch isn’t included, which keeps the price lower and lets you bring the food you want, and nothing you’re allergic to.
- Room to do it all. Snorkel, swim, relax on the sand or hike to the top of the island.

- Reef-safe sunscreen (no oxybenzone) or a sun shirt
- Sunglasses and a sun hat
- Bathing suit and towel

- Cash for your crew’s gratuity (20–25% is standard)
Sunscreens containing oxybenzone are prohibited: guests wearing them can’t enter the water. Reef-safe sunscreen and sun shirts are sold in our shop.

What is Snorkelers in Paradise?
Our full day snorkel trip aboard Mile Mark: two guided snorkel stops on the Buck Island reef, then Turtle Beach. About 5 hours from Christiansted.
How much does it cost?
Adults (18+) $125 and Young Adults (3–17) $105. Groups of 10 or more save 10% automatically ($112.50 and $94.50). Crew gratuity isn’t included; 20–25% is standard.
When does it run?
Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 am. From June to October it books online on Tuesdays only; call (340) 773-2628 for other days.
Do I need to be an experienced snorkeler?
No, beginners are welcome. Every trip starts with a snorkeling refresher course, and your guide is in the water with you.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
Yes, 10 guests. You’ll automatically receive your confirmation once the minimum is reached; if it isn’t, we’ll contact you to reschedule.
I’m arriving by cruise ship. Can I come?
This trip doesn’t run on days a cruise ship is in port. Try the morning half day snorkel, the full day sail or a private charter timed around your ship instead.
Is lunch included?
No, and that’s on purpose: leaving lunch out keeps the price lower and lets you bring the food and drinks you love, and nothing you’re allergic to. Our full days stay at Buck Island instead of leaving for a lunch stop, so you eat on Turtle Beach. There’s an ice chest on board, and we’re happy to recommend where to pick up lunch. What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 48 hours or more before your trip for a 100% refund, or within 48 hours for a 50% refund. Day-of cancellations and no-shows aren’t refunded. Our office closes at 5 pm, so a cancellation after hours the day before counts as day-of. If we cancel for weather, we’ll do everything we can to reschedule; if that doesn’t work, you get a full refund.
